A,H,O,I,!,… presents a series of objects following the rules of Systemic Sculpture, a concept developed by the Croatian architect and artist Vjenčeslav Richter in the early 1960s.
According to Richter, a systemic sculpture is an object assembled from industrially manufactured parallel sliding parts, which can produce an infinite number of forms.
A,H,O,I,!,… is a series of Systemic Sculptures made from styrofoam and a structural plywood grid. Styrofoam parts can be exchanged and re-positioned resulting in a fluid or non-fixed form, limited only by the shape of the support structure.
