UNDERTRAINED, OVERFITTED

The loop between the AI model predicting the users’ behavior and the users following the AI model’s predictions creates an uncanny echo chamber.
In this case, hybrid, hand-drawn and pen-plotted, drawings are created from a continuously retrained AI model. The model is trained on an intentionally small sample of hand-drawn ink dot images, using a relatively low number of training cycles. First – a pen-plotter draws model-generated images; second – the single or multiple drawers add hand-drawn dots, and third – the model is retrained. This process is repeated multiple times, each step resulting in a new, more complex drawing.
